Carpe diem

Yesterday was such a lovely day. My friends surprised me with some lovely gifts and celebrated getting rid of my foot plaster. I am so happy and let's share my happiness with my dear blog friends.
First I wanna show this schedule mug. You can write on this mug with a plain pencil or a water-based pen and then erase it for reuse. It's so practical and I can not wait to go back to my office and show off this to my coworkers...lol;)

It also has a pen holder:
You may find complete information about this mug here. The other presents, as shown in images below, are as sweet as the first one and I like them so much; my little pot and a souvenir from India: Mango tea. This tea tastes Fantastic.

When I saw this souvenir I was thinking about dear Preeti, one of my blog friends who lives in India, and her sweet comments that lead me to continue this blog. She also has a beautiful blog named Creat - E - witty Unleashed. Thank you so so much Preeti!
By the way, Tehran is rainy these days and this cheers me up. I love rainy days.
The photo above shows one of the best ice cream shops in Tehran named Alibaba that we went  there last night to celebrate my freedom of that plaster:)

What about you? Do you like rain? What the weather looks like in your city these days?

cellphone chevron crochet cover

Do you remember this purple shade crochet cover for my mom's cellphone?
Well one of her students has been crying so bad to have this for herself. They don't usually mention children when they are crying for s/th , but Mom couldn't stand her tears and took a promise of her to do s/th nice to have this. The girl drew a nice portrait of my mom achieved the cellphone over. I'm not sure why she wanted it this much and so badly, though I'm happy that someone likes my crochets...lol
So I started another crochet cover for mom's mobile. I have to say that I really like this kind of projects for crochet; They are easy, fast to finish, and make others happy. Hope you'll enjoy it too.

By the way the doctor opened the plaster around my leg. I'm not allowed to walk yet. But I'm so happy I got rid of that heavy stinky plaster that made harshes to my skin. I really couldn't stand it anymore. At least I have free feet now:

A friend of mine has sent me this photo. She has made this for me and I'm so happy of it. It's really really good to have a handmade present.
What do you usually give as a gift? Do you make the presents yourself or try shopping? I'm eager to know!

Freedom as a bird

I recently have a strong feelings about birdies... I like their flying power, their freedom, nesting, and everything else about their lives. I also have a board on pinteret about them named Freedom as a bird. There I found some inspirations about the birds crafty nests such as these:

And when I saw this chips container, I started to dream about my own bird house:
So I tried to make it lovely at least for myself:

And at last another Before-After post that I like very much
I also think about another plan for this one:
What do you think? What can I do for this one?

Little bag for a little girl

I gave that purple cellphone cover to my mom and one her student, a five years old girl, really liked it and wanted it so much. So I decided to make a little bag for her in those shades of colors. This came out. I specially like the owl and wooden button.

As you see in last picture, I've done nothing to my bird house. Maybe I've been disappointed of the fact that nobody reads my blog or I  don't have any single comment in my posts...maybe I should quit!

Recycled potholder

The other day I was cleaning my stuff that I found these fabric ropes. "Let's throw them out" mom said. But I refused her idea and used them for a crochet potholder. Here are some pics:

Hats

I found some photos of my old crochets. I mean they are not for these days, maybe last year. I like Hat crochets for kids. I didn't have any pattern for them and this is not good. I don't remember the number of rows and chains. From now on I decide to have a pattern and keep them for future.
Look at these photos and feel free to comment about them and leave your advises. Tnx:

Crochet Mobile Cover

Let's see what I've done today! Yep! A mobile cover! Do you like colors? I'm fond of green and it’s obvious in this picture. I've painted my crochet hook in green as well:

Do you remember my broken ankle? You can see it in this picture; it's green too:

And it's finished now.

The blue one is an unfinished project of recycled fabrics. I'm gonna make a basket out of that.

The other crochet mobile case is for mom and purple shades:
