Project Runway

I’ve been busy for couple weeks and felt lazy after that, so I didn’t write here. I was concerned about my sewing and crochet projects. I also started to watch a serial named “Project Runway” and it inspired me a lot! It seemed to inspire family children too. Look at my cousins and their doll make overs:

 Have a nice Friday!

Happy Persian New Year!

 From joojoo's blog:

Another year has passed and again another Nowruz is here.

Nowruz marks the first day of spring and the beginning of the year in the Iranian calendar. It is celebrated on the day of the astronomical Northward equinox, which usually occurs on March 21 or the previous/following day depending on where it is observed.

I would like to wish you a wonderful Persian New Year (Nowruz). Hope this new year brings you joy, health and prosperity ♥
! نوروز مبارک
Haft Sîn (Persian: هفت سین‎) or the seven 'S's is a major traditional table setting of Nowruz, the traditional Iranian spring celebration. The haft sin table includes seven items starting with the letter 'S' or Sīn (س) in the Persian alphabet.
The Haft Sīn items are:
✿ Sabzeh – wheat, barley or lentil sprouts growing in a dish – symbolizing rebirth
✿ Samanu – a sweet pudding made from wheat germ – symbolizing affluence
✿ Senjed – the dried fruit of the oleaster tree – symbolizing love
✿ Sīr – garlic – symbolizing medicine
✿ Sīb – apples – symbolizing beauty and health
✿ Somaq – sumac berries – symbolizing (the color of) sunrise
✿ Serkeh – vinegar – symbolizing age and patience.

My friend's colorful and lovely blog

I found Lili's blog when I broke my ankle and was obliged to stay home. She is such a creative girl that organizes almost everything in a colorful and lovely way:

She has a great taste in what she eats:

And some useful tutorials:

I really like her blog and spend a lot of time there. You can visit her lovely blog. Although she writes Farsi, you may use this link to translate and enjoy her posts.

My pretty little angel with her new dress

The thing I like the most about this dress is that red heart I put in front of the dress. This transferred the dress from black and white. Mastaneh, my cousin, likes her dress very much that she wore it for a birthday party.

Mugs! again & again ;)

As I mentioned on my last post, I'm really fond of mugs and always try to make a cozy for them. Although these days I'm a little bit busy for working on a ripple blanket, I'd like to show some of my mugs. the important thing about them is that I try my best to match the buttons and yarns with mugs. I don't know how much I am successful in this. I'm eager to read your comments about them :)
First this:

 And this one:

And the last:

 So! Do you like them?

cozy mug

Let's talk about mugs. I'm a huge fan of any kinds of mugs. Cozies are lovely as well. This one shows my new challenge:

So, how is it? It has two buttons too. First I wasn't determined about the color of buttons.I liked yellow ones more but at last red ones were selected. Yellow ones seemed somehow hidden.

Let's show you part of my library so you can see how much I heart mugs:
