Bed cover

I have a pin board on Pinterest called "freedom as a bird". I really love those birdies there and some of them really melt my heart. As I believe in sequence happenings, yesterday at last I found a fabric that belongs to this category and immediately bought it. It's now laying on my bed and I'm really happy :)

 

I'm gonna make some pillow cases from this lovely fabric as well.

Granny Square Tutorial

I put a  "How to make a granny square by photos" post on my Persian weblog here and it became popular on Pinterest. So I decided to put those images here so you may use it as well.

rainbow grannies

I don't have enough time for crochet but I spent almost all of it on this project. It has lots of fun and relaxing. Every color makes me happy and wanna make more than one after finishing this one :)

I've finished two rows of my grannies. This heart-shaped box shows them in a good way. I like it's rainbow colors and can't wait to see the blanket.

A pincushion & a thread catcher

When I start sewing or crochet projects, I'd always like to be neat and organized. For this purpose, I found some cool ideas on pinterest and blogs such as these:

So I started to make something lovely for myself. First of all I needed these:

 1. Some fabrics 2. Ribbons 3. Circle magnet

Then I cut fabrics as you can see above. There are two of each part.

So after some sewing work this came out:

From now on I have a bin for yarn and fabric waste and also a related pincushion. How do you like it?

Granny Squares

I've started a new "Five grannies a Day" project. The grannies are tinny and I'm ahead of schedule now :)

I'm gonna finish it as a baby blanket. Let's keep our fingers cross that I don't give up.
