I'm Sad

You know, I'm in the group of people that sew for it's joy and happiness. So it's important for me to see people's happiness when I sew for them. Of course I usually do this for children and their respect for my work is always obvious. But today I heard "Setayesh"'s mom complaining about some parts of her dress. I believe that it's not polite complain about s/th you received as a gift. It made me sad and I started thinking that if it is right to sew for others  freely!
What do you think about her cloths?

A little organization

These days I’m a little tired of my full time job at company and I don’t follow my sewing projects. Or maybe it’s because of the temperature. It’s too hot here and I can’t bear it.
So yesterday I decided to clean up my craft room and found a big basket of fabrics my brother brought last months.

Since I didn’t have enough time for organizing them those days, I started yesterday. And voila! This is what it turned down.

It was such a fun sorting them by colors. I wrote about the projects on each fabric so I can remember it's purpose and also numbered them not to forget the projects; even if I had no Idea!

It took some times but it was quite fun. It also gave me the opportunity to post my first before and after. Now I’m full of energy to start my sewing projects. Happy sewing:)

Summer Project 1

How do you like this dress? This is one of my favorites. I like the colors, ribbons, and the cute model of this dress named Golta. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera while modeling the dress. So I captured these photos by mom's mobile and this is why the quality is not fine.

First models

Guess what! I finally found my models for twin dresses. First is "Raha" and second is "Setayesh", both my friends' children (they are not sisters of course). I Do like Raha's pose for photography. She is almost two (her birthday is in August). Setayesh is 18 months. As she is smaller,I wasn't able to take proper photos.
Let's have a tour of their photos:

Twin Dresses

I'm a full time worker in a company. So I don't have enough time for my sewing projects. Sometimes I ran home after work, in order to achieve my sewing projects. These two dresses are   kind of this after job's time. I really really like them. Of course they seem somehow different but I call them twins. I also like the fabric. It's called ARDEKAN YAZD. The only thing that bothers me is that I don't have a live model. So sad:(
What do you think? Do you like them?

Quilt Party

So, did I mention how much I love quilts? Yesterday we went to a craft exhibition and found this wave quilt. It also comes in blue spectrum. I really really wanna start one!
