♥ crochet

So I finished another before-after program and I am so happy. Wanna share my happiness with you:

I really like this feeling that you look at a finished project and say YES! to yourself. Now I'm going to start another project. I bought a bird house the other day an I'm gonna change its look. Let's give it a chance!

A Cover For my Sewing Machine

I found the idea here and couldn't stop thinking about. So I tried my best and this came out:

I Do like it so much. Although I had some ironing problem, it looks good. It has pockets for wires and scissors as well.
And the term "SEWZAN" to personalize it:

10 minutes rejuvenation of a vintage phone

I know that I was supposed to write about my sewing projects but I have to mention that I love vintage so much and because of my broken ankle I can't sew for maybe a month. This phone is one of my best findings in Jom'E Bazaar (i.e a weekly bazaar at Fridays in Tehran, Iran).

I've been using this since last year in its solid color. Today I decided to give him a chance to be more famous at home. I used these tapes I bought month ago in a thrift store.
And my vintage phone changed to be a lovely polka dot one. I DO like it more now of course.

As you can see it is made in Iran.

I ♥ My sewing machine

Since I broke my ankle, I was away from my lovely sewing machine. I really missed sewing. Of course I was active in crochet and did something in that field. Do you like see some?
Aren't they lovely? Do you like them? I found some patterns in pinterest and these crochet projects was really full of fun.

So, from now I'll start my sewing projects again. This will help me forget this 4 month prison days... Just a month has passed although!

Happy Sewing

I broke my ankle:(

It hurts.... It really hurts! I can't believe this too much pain happened in a simple hiking. This made me stop my sewing projects and I AM so sad. Look at this drawing of my cousin. She's drawn me one leg green:

And this is what I've done to myself:

The fun part is decorating my nails, although I reach them hard!

I try to start my projects this Monday. Let's keep our fingers crossed I get better soon.

I'm Sad

You know, I'm in the group of people that sew for it's joy and happiness. So it's important for me to see people's happiness when I sew for them. Of course I usually do this for children and their respect for my work is always obvious. But today I heard "Setayesh"'s mom complaining about some parts of her dress. I believe that it's not polite complain about s/th you received as a gift. It made me sad and I started thinking that if it is right to sew for others  freely!
What do you think about her cloths?

A little organization

These days I’m a little tired of my full time job at company and I don’t follow my sewing projects. Or maybe it’s because of the temperature. It’s too hot here and I can’t bear it.
So yesterday I decided to clean up my craft room and found a big basket of fabrics my brother brought last months.

Since I didn’t have enough time for organizing them those days, I started yesterday. And voila! This is what it turned down.

It was such a fun sorting them by colors. I wrote about the projects on each fabric so I can remember it's purpose and also numbered them not to forget the projects; even if I had no Idea!

It took some times but it was quite fun. It also gave me the opportunity to post my first before and after. Now I’m full of energy to start my sewing projects. Happy sewing:)
